Tropical AoNang, Where the Living’s Easy
By Roam Resorts & Hotels
You have been waiting for this time over a year now.
From your window seat of the plane you see the shore line of a new country for the first time. As you get lower you can make out the sandy beaches, blue pristine water, and swaying palm trees in a tropical paradise. You start to get excited but feel yourself relaxing at the same time.
When you left home, it was cold. Grey skies, chilled wind, and even the threat of snow.
With a slight bump the plane lands and you start the shuffle towards breathing the new country’s air for the first time. It is warm. There is a sweet smell of frangipani and mango – even at the airport. Your first impression of Thailand is exuberance. You’re on your tropical holiday! You can wear shorts, sandals and a flimsy shirt. Your thick winter coat slips way back into your distant memories.
You are here. New country, foreign language and your mother tongue, while spoken, is not easy to understand. Let alone the names of places being hard to pronounce.
That relaxed feeling starts to dissipate as you try to take in your new surroundings.
Then you see it. A name you can pronounce – your name! Holding up your name, on the hotel sign board, is a happy smiling local full of warm welcomes and “Sawadee krub”. Relaxation quickly envelopes you again. You think, “I am so happy to have chosen a resort that offers complimentary airport transfers”. After all a holiday is meant to be easy and stress-free.
The hotel you have chosen for this long needed holiday is AoNang Cliff Beach Resort. A beautiful hillside resort overlooking the AoNang village with wide, expansive views of the Andaman Sea.
Furthermore, the resort has it’s very own exclusive, private eco beach with a bar & restaurant. There is a free shuttle bus so this is easy to get to, too!
The driver quickly winds his way through the AoNang traffic and as you enter the resort you are taken to a separate reception, just for the Panorama Rooms.
A cold drink and cool towel await you at check-in and the friendly staff effortlessly complete the formalities. Then you are shown to you your room and the first thing you notice is more frangipani (this time flowers on your bed) and the view – Andaman Sea, palm trees and as it is now evening a brilliant Thailand sunset to welcome you. Yes thank you, I can now look forward to my week long stay at Aonang Cliff Beach Resort.
